MODERN DANCE
Ages 6 & older
The School of CCDT offers two styles of Modern Dance:
Limón Modern classes, based on the movement principles founded by Mexican-American Modern dance pioneer José Limón, possess a liberating, playful quality that is brilliantly suited to a young dancer’s development, providing a perfect complement to classical forms.
Rambert Grades is a progressive contemporary dance programme focused on dance technique, creativity, and performance. Students master core contemporary dance skills, and have the opportunity to participate in exams to mark their progress.
Live musicians accompany all of our modern dance classes to inspire and engage the students with a well-rounded experience of exceptional training.

Limón Technique
Beginner Modern (ages 6-8)
Saturdays 12:00 - 1:00pm
Intermediate Modern*
Mondays 5:15 - 6:45pm
Advanced Modern*
Mondays 7:00 - 8:30pm
*teacher referral or trial class required to register
Rambert Grades
Modern 1 (ages 8-10)
Tuesdays 6:15 - 7:15pm
Modern 2 (ages 10-12)
Tuesdays 7:15 - 8:15pm
Modern 3 (ages 13+)
Tuesdays 8:15 - 9:30pm
Limón Modern is also offered in our Adult Dance Classes.
