SunDance 2020

July 6-24
A three-week Dance Intensive for Ages 8-19

 

Join us for the 23rd edition of SunDance in association with the Royal Academy of Dance – the only summer intensive in the world to combine RAD Ballet and Limón Modern. With world-class instruction from leading dance artists from across the globe, this full-day, three week intensive provides young dancers ages 8-19 with the means to realize their artistic potential in a professional, interdisciplinary atmosphere at one of Canada's premier dance facilities.

Ignite! 2020

July 26-31

Ignite! is an auditioned, one-week summer dance program about the creative process for emerging contemporary dance artists ages 15 and up - exploring different methods and approaches for dance-making. Through a series of classes, research labs and collaborative rehearsal experiences, the program aims to help artists understand a new scope of their own creative possibilities.

Application Deadlines:

Earlybird - April 24, 2020

Final - May 29, 2020

 

Summer Arts 2020

A one-week day camp for Ages 4-8

PROGRAM UPDATE:

Monday May 11th - We have made the difficult decision not to move ahead with the planned in-studio SummerArts Program.

SummerArts programming will instead be offered online this August. Details to be announced!

Creative Movement

...brings play-dance from the living room to the studio without removing its spontaneity

Music Making

... Orff-based music program where kids experiment with and experience music of their own making

Visual Arts

...explores representation, abstraction, colour, and perspective through 2D and 3D art forms.
