 COMMITMENT TO INCLUSIVITY:
UPDATED DRESS CODE

We wish for every dancer to feel safe and included at The School of CCDT, and we are taking steps to continually ensure such an environment.

Going forward, we have revised our Dress Code to reflect the diversity of our student body, encouraging flesh-tones rather than exclusive pink, and gender-neutral options for all classes. We are currently sourcing options to stock our 509 Dancewear store with flesh-tone dancewear that suits a wide range of skin tones. Although the store is currently closed, we look forward to being able to provide these dancewear options to our students and the Toronto dance community upon reopening (soon!).

SUPPORT US ON DISTANTLY

We are committed to helping our staff get through the COVID-19 pandemic financially, and to maintaining our wonderful 509 Dance building, which has infused the Cabbagetown community with movement and art for the past 25 years.

Please visit The School of CCDT on Distantly, a free platform that accepts contributions on behalf of small businesses. Your generous support will help ensure we have a dance school to return to.

OPEN-ACCESS DANCE RESOURCES

SCCDT Faculty member Andrea Downie has shared with us the library of open-access dance resources available through Healthy Dancer Canada, of which she is a founding member.
