Exceptional training for the focused and dedicated young dancer committed to working toward technical and artistic excellence in Ballet and Modern dance.
Our Pre-Professional Program features a proven balance of Royal Academy of Dance Ballet and Limón Modern dance classes led by some of Canada's preeminent teachers and enriched with inspiring live accompaniment. This training program prepares students for a wide range of opportunities including:

Royal Academy of Dance examinations

unique world-class instruction in Limón Modern Dance beginning at age 8

membership in the award-winning CCDT performing company or its Apprentice Programs

admission to regional performing arts schools

auditioning for elite national and international post-secondary dance programs

Professional & Pre-professional training with a strong emphasis on creation and performance.
Acceptance to CCDT's Company and Apprentice Programs is by audition only. Auditions are held annually in February/March for the following September-June Season. Click here to learn more.
